Fire Department
Page Header:

The Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department has proudly been serving and protecting the residents of the Village of Lakeview and the surrounding communities since the early 1900s. Committed to excellence in emergency response, fire prevention, and community outreach, our department is made up of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and skills to ensure the safety and well-being of our neighbors.
Under the leadership of Fire Chief Gary (Joe) Ferryman and Assistant Fire Chief Josh Oakley, the department continues to uphold a strong tradition of service, professionalism, and community spirit. Their guidance, experience, and dedication help ensure that our team remains well-trained, well-equipped, and ready to respond—day or night.
The Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department responds to a variety of emergencies, including fires, medical calls, motor vehicle accidents, and other critical incidents. In addition, our department takes pride in engaging with the community through safety education, fire prevention initiatives, and participation in local events.
We are grateful for the ongoing support from our residents and are always looking for ways to serve better. Whether it’s answering the call in an emergency or helping teach fire safety to children, we are here for Lakeview.
For more information about the department, volunteer opportunities, or community programs, please contact us directly or stop by the station—we’d love to meet you.
