Dear Village of Lakeview Residents,

As I reflect on the events in our community over the last year and my first year in office, I want to address the importance of unity, understanding, and truth in maintaining the harmony we all so cherish. We have so much to be thankful for!

In times of uncertainty and confusion, it is easy for misunderstanding and false narrative to take root. We have all seen how quickly misinformation can spread and create division among us, that is now in the past. However, it is in these moments that we must come together, listen to one another and seek the truth with open hearts and minds.

I acknowledge that there have been instances where information was shared without thorough research or verification of facts. While this may have been unintentional, the impact has been significant, causing chaos and discord within our village. It is crucial for us to recognize the power of words and the responsibility we carry when sharing information.

As we move forward into this New Year 2025, let us commit to seeking out the truth and verifying facts before passing them along. In doing so, we can foster a more informed, respectful and united village.

I believe in the strength and resiliency of our village. We have always been a community that supports one another, and it is through this spirit of togetherness that we can overcome any challenges. Let us work together to rebuild trust, mend relationships and ensure that our actions contribute positively to the well-being of all residents.

Your leadership team is ready to rebuild and make the Village of Lakeview a standout community! Let us revitalize like no other community has ever seen. Together, we can create an environment of growth, set the bar to a whole new level, be respectful, find your personal vessel of kindness.

I’m asking each of you to zoom in on your talents and find your spot and purpose to be a part of this great rebuilding of our sweet VILLAGE OF LAKEVIEW. Let us start with our own homes, get a plan in place, guide your children and the youth of this community. Make it a time to plant, revitalize, help your neighbors, and share the good news. Lakeview is open for business.
