The Village of Lakeview is proud to contract with the Washington Township Police Department for law-enforcement protection.  The Washington Township Police Department consists of six officers, and one civilian administrative assistant.   Chief Michael Thompson believes that a strong police presence in our Village will deter criminal activity.  As drug problems continue to dominate the calls for service for law enforcement agencies across the state,  Washington Township Police Department has an aggressive approach in dealing with drug offenders. He also believes that if we can minimize the drug activity in our area, all other crime statistics will be reduced.
