The Village of Lakeview Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing for a Variance application, Monday November. 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Village of Lakeview Fire Department Building, located at 540 CR 270, Lakeview, OH 43331. Sari Silwani is requesting variances for a permanently sited manufactured home, 16’ wide x 52’ long. The variances are:(1) Mfg. home is not 22 ft. wide, (2) exceeds 25% of lot occupied by principal & accessory structures. Lot is 60’ wide by 49’ deep = 2940 sq. ft. and 25% of that is 735 sq. ft. and mfg. home is 819 sg. ft., which is 27%. (3) Setbacks for our R-2 zoning district are front = 25ft., rear = 30 ft & sum of sides =10 ft. The mfg. home is 52’ long and the lot is only 60’ wide, which leaves side setbacks of 8 ft not 10 ft. The mfg. home is 16 ft. wide, and the lot is 49 ft. deep, that leaves 33’ and you need 55’ for front and rear setbacks. The parcel they are asking to sit this on is 47-017-14-16-039-000 and is located at 320 Park Ave., Lakeview, OH 43331.

Hello. This year we will be doing things differently. All homes abd businesses within the Village of Lakeview Corporation limits will be viewed and judged by Council and the Mayor between December 14 and December 16th. There is no need to sign up. Winners will be announced and notified on December 22nd. We will be awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for residences and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for businesses.
