Title: Water / Street Dept Maint Worker (Full-Time Position)
Department: Water / Street Department
Rate of Pay: TBD
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of waterline systems.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment necessary for completing various projects.
• Inspecting the water facility on a scheduled basis to ensure proper plant and equipment
operation, and maintaining desired water quality
• Conducting routine water tests
• Performing routine mechanical and electrical work for the maintenance, repair, and
installation of pumps, motors, feeders, and related equipment
• Additional responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining vehicles, grounds,
equipment, and the maintenance shop. Street repairs, snow plowing, etc.

• Assist other departments as needed
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have the ability to acquire a valid State of Ohio commercial driver’s license
(CDL) and must remain insurable under the Village’s vehicle insurance policy

• Must have ability to acquire an Ohio class 1 water treatment license

• Must have the ability to acquire an Ohio Commercial Applicator license (Industrial Vegetation and Pesticide)
